Our Story

A Village Gem

We are a small, family run restaurant nestled in the heart of Hespeler Village. The Aging Oak provides a relaxing, intimate dining atmosphere which fosters an evening of quality time and stimulating conversation. Using only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients, our chef creates delicious shareable-style dishes which pair perfectly with our diverse selection of whiskey and wines.

Owners Peter and Melissa returned to the village after 21 years, and knew after just one visit that The Aging Oak was their next chapter. In the kitchen, Chef Frances, winner of the 2019 Cambridge Readers Choice Platinum Best Local Chef Award, brings experience from The Cambridge Mill, Langdon Hall and Ernie's Roadhouse to every plate.
